NAAPE Shuts Down Bristow Helicopters Operations

Britow-Naape-Strike-300x162

The National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE) has shut down operations of Bristow Helicopters in Lagos and Rivers states.

The NAAPE said that the two-day warning strike was over alleged pay disparity between expatriate and Nigerian pilots.

Officials of the company were seen manning the gates of the premises on Thursday morning.

The workers insisted that meetings with officials of NAAPE had not yielded any result, which was what prompted the industrial action.

In a swift reaction, Bristow Helicopters through its Public Relations agency, said it would respond shortly.
